Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controllership, end-to-end bookkeeping, and overseeing financial operations of the APAC region (India, Japan, Korea) . This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to manage our financial team and drive financial excellence across the business unit.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including bookkeeping and reporting .
  • Manage the month-end, Quarter end year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
  • Develop and implement financial procedures and maintain internal controls.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations .
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners .
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements across the organisation.
  • Own the end-to-end payroll process and related compliance.


Requirements:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required .
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with a focus on controllership and end-to-end bookkeeping.
  • Proven track record of overseeing financial operations and team management.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards.
