The Technical Consultant – SAC will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics, dashboards, and planning solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud for retail business functions. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAC along with a solid understanding of retail operations such as merchandising, supply chain, store operations, sales, and inventory management. The consultant will work closely with business users, data teams, and SAP functional teams to deliver high quality analytics and planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAC dashboards, stories, analytic applications, and planning models to support retail business processes including sales performance, inventory insights, category management, and supply chain analytics.

• Build and maintain SAC data models integrating data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and other retail data sources.

• Develop SAC planning templates, allocation logic, forecast models, and predictive scenarios tailored to retail planning cycles.

• Configure data connections, import jobs, and live data integrations ensuring accuracy, performance, and security.

• Analyze requirements from retail stakeholders and translate them into SAC technical solutions aligned with best practices.

• Work with functional teams (SD, MM, FI, Retail, and Supply Chain) to ensure consistent and accurate data across reporting layers.

• Optimize SAC applications for performance, usability, and scalability in high volume retail environments.

• Troubleshoot issues related to data loads, model calculations, permission models, and front-end visualizations.

• Support UAT, prepare technical documentation, and deliver training to users on SAC functionality.

• Participate in solution design workshops, sprint reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
