Profile: Head of Plant Maintenance-Solar-Surat-15 LPA

Experience: 12-15 years in industrial maintenance with 4-5 years in Solar PV Module / Semiconductor clean-room environment

Salary Range: 12 to 15 LPA

Roles:

1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Asset Management: Create and execute a comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) and preventive schedule for Stringers, Laminators, Sun Simulators, and EL Testers. Predictive Analysis: Use thermal imaging and vibration analysis to identify potential motor or heater failures before they cause a line stoppage.

2. Specialized Machinery Care Robotics & Automation: Maintain high-speed robotic arms used in layup and framing; ensure glass loading/unloading systems are calibrated. Thermal Accuracy: Regularly calibrate the heating plates of laminators to ensure uniform EVA encapsulation, preventing bubbles or delamination. Vision Systems: Maintain the high-resolution cameras and sensors used in EL (Electroluminescence) testing to ensure accurate defect detection.

3. Utility & Infrastructure Management Power & Air: Oversee the plant's electrical substation, DG sets, and high-capacity air compressors (critical for pneumatic stringing tools). HVAC & Clean Room: Maintain the dust-free environment and humidity control systems essential for high-quality solar cell handling.

4. Spare Parts & Budgeting Critical Spares: Maintain an "Essential Spares List" (e.g., suction cups, Teflon sheets, heating elements) to ensure repairs happen in minutes, not days. Vendor Management: Liaise with domestic and international machine OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for technical support and upgrades.

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
