Openshift Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Kubernetes and OpenShift Engineer with more than 3 years of hands on experience in container orchestration and platform management. The role involves managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting container platforms to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes K8s and OpenShift OCP clusters

Handle cluster upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance activities

Support CI CD pipelines for containerized applications

Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk

Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and performance related issues

Configure networking components including CNI, DNS, Ingress, and Load Balancers

Implement and manage security configurations including RBAC and secrets management

Automate operational and deployment tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible

Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and QA teams to support platform reliability and delivery

Required Skills

Strong experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift

Proficiency with kubectl, oc, and containerization tools such as Docker

Good knowledge of YAML, Helm, and CI CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub

Strong understanding of Linux environments and basic networking concepts

Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Hands on experience with middleware technologies including Apache, Tomcat, and WebSphere
