About the role
We are seeking skilled and experienced Business Tester to join our team and contribute to the success of our Asset Management Audit Platform (AMAP) application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business logic testing and auditing investment and capital accounts within asset management funds. This role requires critical thinking, strong documentation skills, and effective collaboration with the team to ensure the platform's functionality aligns with business requirements.
Roles & responsibilities
Business Logic Testing: Perform thorough testing of business logic within the AMAP application to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.
Documentation: Demonstrate strong documentation skills to document notes, exceptions, and address comments/review notes from internal and external reviewers.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the team to meet stipulated deadlines and ensure a smooth testing process.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of the AMAP application by conducting rigorous testing and validation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Asset Management Audit Platform on previous audit engagements
Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing investment and capital accounts in asset management funds, including Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, CITs, Private Equity, Venture Capital funds, Real Estate Funds, and Fund of Funds.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies including Excel.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in testing processes and documentation.

Educational qualifications
Bachelor's/ Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Should have good understanding of Data Analytics/ Software Testing concepts
Overall 2-4 years experience
