HRO Specialist – HRO (Unemployment Claims & WOTC)\n\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage Unemployment Claims and Work\nOpportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) processes. The role focuses on ensuring compliance,\nreducing claim costs, maximizing tax credit opportunities, and delivering high-quality\nsupport within an HRO environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nUnemployment Claims Management\n• Review and analyze unemployment claims for accuracy and eligibility\n• Prepare and submit timely responses to state agencies\n• Coordinate documentation and support hearings and appeals\n• Investigate and challenge inaccurate or fraudulent claims\n• Track claim status and ensure timely resolution\n• Monitor impact on employer tax rates and identify cost-saving opportunities\nWOTC Processing\n• Conduct candidate eligibility screening for WOTC during hiring\n• Ensure accurate completion of IRS Form 8850 and related documentation\n• Submit applications to state workforce agencies within defined timelines\n• Track certification status and follow up on pending applications\n• Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance records\n• Drive initiatives to maximize WOTC credit capture\nReporting & Compliance\n• Generate regular reports on claims, WOTC credits, and savings\n\n• Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations\n• Maintain complete documentation for audits and compliance reviews\n• Identify and implement process improvements\nStakeholder Management\n• Collaborate with HR, recruitment, payroll, and operations teams\n• Provide timely updates and insights to leadership\n• Address client queries and ensure high service quality\n\nMust-Have Skills:\n• Strong understanding of compliance and documentation requirements\n• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)\n• Proficiency in MS Excel (tracking, reporting, analysis)\n• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset\n• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\n\nGood-to-Have Skills:\n• Experience in HRO or shared services environment\n• Familiarity with IRS Form 8850 and state unemployment regulations\n\nJob Requirements:\n• Any Bachelor’s degree\n• 2–4 years of relevant experience (Analyst)\n• Willingness to work in core night shifts (mandatory)\n• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills\n\nKey Competencies:\n\n• Attention to detail\n• Time management and accountability\n• Analytical thinking\n• Process improvement mindset\n• Client-centric approach
