We're Hiring: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to execute structural engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects. This role is key to maintaining technical integrity, driving a strong HSE culture, and ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all structural engineering activities while maintaining technical integrity.
• Deliver and support a strong HSE culture, working within budget and schedule limits.
• Assist other disciplines in achieving their goals and support management as required.
• Participate in cost and schedule estimates, and plan work in alignment with the project schedule.
• Monitor and report progress using the prescribed system.
• Drive innovative solutions to reduce cost and schedule.
• Supervise any third-party work carried out.
• Participate in relevant meetings, including HAZID, Design Reviews, Model Reviews, and PEER Reviews.
• Take full cognizance of Health, Safety and Environmental issues, and ensure process safety is implemented within the structural design.
• Liaise and interact with other disciplines to ensure overall project goals are met.
• Advise management of variations in a timely manner.
• Utilize suitable technology to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

• Relevant degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Conversant with relevant international standards and codes of practice.
• 10 years of experience, of which at least 7 years must be related to the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 2 years working in a multi-discipline team environment.
• Experience in using structural analysis software such as SACs.
• Familiar with working alongside construction engineers and lifting design.
