This role is ideal for engineers passionate about spacecraft avionics, RF systems, embedded electronics, and satellite integration, with the opportunity to work across the full mission lifecycle — from architecture and design to launch and in-orbit operations.\n\nAs part of one of India’s leading private space technology companies, you will contribute to cutting-edge satellite programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams shaping the future of accessible and scalable space technology.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, and integrate spacecraft electronics, avionics, RF systems, power distribution systems, and communication interfaces aligned with space-grade reliability and EMI/EMC compliance standards.\nDefine and optimize system architectures, power budgets, mass budgets, and data handling strategies for satellite electronic subsystems.\nLead and execute HIL/SIL testing, functional validation, EMI/EMC testing, vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum (TVAC) qualification activities.\nPerform radiation analysis and reliability assessments, including TID, SEE, FMEA/FMECA, derating analysis, and worst-case analysis (WCA) for mission-critical electronics.\nDevelop and integrate FPGA-based systems, embedded controllers, and avionics software interfaces using technologies such as VHDL, Verilog, microcontrollers, and space communication protocols.\nIntegrate spacecraft electronics with EPS, OBDH, ADCS, propulsion, and communication subsystems, ensuring seamless cross-functional interoperability.\nSupport spacecraft launch campaigns, LEOP operations, in-orbit commissioning, anomaly investigation, and corrective action implementation.\nCreate and maintain critical engineering documentation including ICDs, CONOPS, V&V plans, system specifications, test procedures, and design review documentation (SRR/PDR/CDR).\nCollaborate with internal engineering teams, manufacturing, mission operations, and external stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable spacecraft solutions.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Skills:\n\n2+ years of experience in satellite systems engineering, spacecraft electronics, avionics, or aerospace systems integration.\nStrong expertise in spacecraft power systems, avionics integration, RF electronics, PCB design, FPGA-based systems, and embedded electronics.\nHands-on knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance, radiation-hardened design, FMEA/FMECA, reliability engineering, and environmental qualification testing.\nProficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, circuit simulation tools, and hardware validation workflows.\nExperience with space communication interfaces and protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, SpaceWire, and MIL-STD-1553.\nFamiliarity with FPGA development using VHDL/Verilog and embedded software integration.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and systems-thinking capabilities with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
A Master’s degree is preferred.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience working on smallsat/microsat missions, COTS-for-space systems, or satellite avionics platforms.\nFamiliarity with ISRO, ESA, ECSS, MIL-STD, or aerospace qualification standards.\nProficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad.\nExperience with Python or MATLAB scripting for automation, test systems, and data analysis.\nExposure to spacecraft integration campaigns, mission operations, or in-orbit troubleshooting.
