Job Title: Technical Bid Writer\nLocation: Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Bangalore\nDepartment: Pre-Sales\nExperience Level: 3–6 years\n\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a skilled Technical Bid Writer to join our team and take the lead in creating compelling, accurate, and winning technical content for bids, proposals, and tenders. The ideal candidate will collaborate with technical teams, sales, and subject matter experts to understand project requirements and produce persuasive documentation that meets client expectations and compliance standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nWrite, edit, and format high-quality technical content for RFPs, RFIs, EOIs, and tenders.\nWork closely with solution architects, engineers, and project managers to gather accurate technical inputs.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly content.\nEnsure all bid content aligns with the organization’s brand, tone, and strategic positioning.\nReview tender documents and identify submission requirements, risks, and deliverables.\nAssist in creating reusable content libraries and templates for future proposals.\nMeet tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.\nCollaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams for professional presentation of documents.\nMaintain a database of past responses, case studies, and credentials.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in English, Engineering, IT, Communications, or related field.\n3+ years of experience in technical writing or bid/proposal writing.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong understanding of technical concepts (e.g., software solutions, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, etc.).\nProven ability to write persuasive content under pressure.\nExperience with MS Office Suite.\nAttention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.\nFamiliarity with public sector, government, or enterprise bidding processes is a plus.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAPMP certification or formal bid management training.\nKnowledge of industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO, ITIL, Agile, etc.).\nExperience writing bids in sectors such as IT services, education.\n\nWorking Conditions:\nMay involve extended hours around bid submission deadlines.
