Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist\n\nJOB PURPOSE\nTo work with patients who have problems with Speech, Language, communication, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders / Dysphagia.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nWhen diagnosing patients, speech-language typically do the following:\nAbility to clinically evaluate the patient, independently.\nTaking decision and administer the modalities & procedures with high skill of performance.\nEnsure service excellence with high standard of patient care.\nCommunicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty\nDetermine the extent of communication problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests\nIdentify treatment options\nCreate and carry out an individualized treatment plan\nPlan treatment objectives and programs according to the results of evaluation.\nExplains treatment objectives and methods to patients and their families.\nEvaluate patient response and progress, and discusses with appropriate physician as and when required.\nEvaluate and test procedures.\nRecord treatment given and update appropriate records daily.\nRecord patient’s progress on timely manner.\nMaintain good & healthy relations with other professionals, including physicians, patients, patient’s relatives\nTo ensure that ethical professional practice is followed.\nKnowledge of safe and proper operations of all equipment.\nTo comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.\nTo comply with patient safety policy.\nTo ensure safe utilization of equipment’s and proper waste disposal system.\nTo attend home patients and assessments\n\nWhen treating patients, speech-language pathologists typically do the following:\nTeach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices\nTeach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability\nWork with patients to improve their ability to read and write correctly\nWork with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow\nCounsel patients and families on how to cope with communication disorders\n\nQualifications : Masters in Audiology and Speech – Language Pathology (with valid registration)\n\nExperience : 0 to 8 years of experience, post qualification.\n\nInterested candidates may connect\n\nDr. Varun Khurana : 9899781588\n\nMr. Deen - 9718519555\n\nThanks
