As a Relationship Officer in the Loans Against Gold department, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored gold loan solutions. Your role will involve promoting the bank's gold loan products, cross-selling other banking services, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will work closely with the marketing team to execute branch-level marketing strategies and drive business growth.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Knowledge of gold loan products and the ability to explain complex financial concepts to customers.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • A customer-centric approach and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Fluency in English and any other regional language is an added advantage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and requirements.
  • Promote and market the bank's gold loan products to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and features.
  • Cross-sell other banking services and products to existing customers, maximizing the bank's revenue potential.
  • Conduct thorough customer due diligence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist customers in completing loan applications, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, loan applications, and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective branch-level marketing campaigns and events.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to the management team, contributing to the overall growth and success of the department.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and maintain a positive brand image for the bank.
