We are looking for a highly execution-focused Chartered Accountant with strong experience in D2C, e-commerce, retail, or consumer-facing businesses. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can independently manage end-to-end finance operations, ensure compliance, and bring strong financial discipline to a fast-growing business environment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in accounting operations, AP/AR management, taxation, audits, inventory accounting, and marketplace reconciliations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, improving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth through strong financial controls and reporting.

This role requires someone who thrives in high-volume transaction environments, understands the operational complexities of consumer brands, and can work independently with strong ownership and accountability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations for the business
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and financial reporting
  • Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations efficiently
  • Monitor vendor payments, receivables, collections, and customer settlements
  • Conduct ageing analysis and drive timely closure of pending items
  • Manage invoicing, billing controls, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation processes
  • Handle marketplace accounting and reconciliations for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Nykaa, and similar channels
  • Monitor high-volume transactions and ensure accuracy across payment gateways and vendor ecosystems
  • Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
  • Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, audits, and statutory compliances
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure strong financial controls, process discipline, and audit-ready documentation
  • Support business leadership with financial insights, reporting, and operational decision-making

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong post-qualification experience
  • Experience working with D2C, e-commerce, retail, or consumer-focused brands
