Senior Research Associate
The Senior Research Associate will work with a seasoned team of researchers to help provide insights and guidance to clients. The Senior Research Associate is responsible for supporting the design and analysis of quantitative research studies for clients across a wide variety of industries.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
With advice and oversight from senior team members, participate in survey design, questionnaire development, and preparation of reports
Support multiple research projects across different clients simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines
Test programmed surveys for quality, accuracy, and functionality, including logic, skip patterns, piping
Develop tab and banner plans in collaboration with senior team members and data processing partners to support effective analysis
Review draft tables and datasets for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with research objectives
Collaboration with project management, qualitative strategy, and analytics teams to keep projects running smoothly
Identification of key trends and patterns in the data
Create data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to effectively communicate insights in a way that elevates our story telling
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, templates, and best practices related to research execution and reporting
CORE COMPETENCIES
Survey Design & Questionnaire Development: Ability to draft and proofread questionnaires including applying logic, familiarity with the use of skip patterns, piping, randomization and other design principles to ensure data integrity
Project Timing, Fieldwork Management & Monitoring: Experience managing research project timelines and schedules, reviewing programmed survey links and monitoring field progress
Crosstab and Data Planning: Familiarity with building tab and banner plans and checking draft tables for accuracy, cleaning and reviewing large data sets
Data Visualization and Reporting: Draft report outlines and sections and contributes to implications; ability to select appropriate charts from templates.
Operational Fluency: An understanding of the full-service research lifecycle, allowing for effective communication with senior team members, project managers, programmers, and data processing team
Detail Oriented and Strong Proofreading and Accuracy: High-level accuracy in checking questionnaire logic, programmed surveys, and experience proof reading reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
2+ years' market research experience in a market research supplier firm
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Google Slides, and SPSS a plus but not required
Knowledge of quantitative research methods and practices, qualitative knowledge a plus
Experience working with large datasets and reviewing tables for accuracy
Familiarity with statistical concepts such as significance testing, weighting, and segmentation
Expert written and oral communication
Comfort working collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Demonstrates curiosity, critical thinking, and a desire to learn
High level of autonomy and initiative; able to identify "what needs to happen next" and execute without waiting for direct supervision
