Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Drive B2B and B2C sales and promote investment products (mutual funds, fixed deposits, etc.).
- Engage with customers to promote and sell mutual fund products.
- Provide investment advice and build long-term client relationships.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive customer engagement.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and regulatory compliance.
- Drive acquisition of channel partners including IFAs, MFDs and corporate partners
- Build and manage a strong network of distributors to increase product penetration and AUM growth
- Enable partners to effectively distribute financial products by providing training, product knowledge, and sales support
- Develop and execute strategies to activate inactive distributors and improve productivity of existing partners
- Promote a wide range of investment products, including:
- Mutual Funds
- Fixed Deposits
- PMS (Portfolio Management Services)
- AIF (Alternative Investment Funds)
- Bonds and Structured Products
- Work closely with partners to identify client opportunities and support them in closing business
- Conduct regular partner meetings, training sessions, and joint client calls
- Monitor partner performance, track business metrics, and drive revenue through channel productivity
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong governance across partner activities
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and distributor ecosystem developments
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably in Finance, Business, or related field)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in channel sales / distributor management in financial services
- Strong network or experience working with IFAs, MFDs, or wealth distributors
- Good understanding of financial products: Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, FDs, Bonds, etc.
- Proven ability to drive partner acquisition and engagement
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self-driven with a strong focus on targets and revenue generation
