Role Detail

Primary Purpose of the Job

  • As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of the company.

  • You will interact directly with preschool owners and principals to introduce them to our platform.

  • This is a field sales role.

  • Requires regular travel to preschools within assigned regions (Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore).

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through field visits, networking, and referrals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with preschool stakeholders.

  • Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase Edtech solutions.

  • Close deals, meet targets, and drive revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with the telecalling team for lead nurturing and follow-ups.

  • Share regular reports and insights with the management team.

  • Internal: Team, Reporting Manager

  • External: Vendors

Desired Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline

  • MBA preferred

Years of Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales

  • Preferably in Edtech or education

Expected Competencies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills

  • Ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong understanding of preschool operations and the Edtech landscape

  • Existing network of industry contacts and relationships

Skills and Knowledge

  • Understanding of Sales KPIs and performance metrics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Experience in proposal and contract management
