About The Job:
- The Blue Yonder Technical Architect/Consultant will be responsible for delivering services related to product implementation and integration, including build and migration activities, with the BY SCPO (Supply Chain Planning and Optimization)/legacy (jda) and Cognitive Planning suite of products.
- Core responsibilities include architecting, designing (along with counterparts, customer, and Architects) and leading the technical team on projects.
- The incumbent should be passionate about working with new technologies and products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
Essential Job Functions:
- Analysis and assessment of existing customer’s BY solution for migration to Cognitive Planning
- Solution implementation, migration, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.
- Estimate the workload of implementation activities that are within the scope of their skills; assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture.
- Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and/or the project team to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
- Design and develop platform workflow/user interface, integration scripts, data mapping, data modeling and loading of data.
- Provide a variety of technical support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming, etc.
- Handle activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Provide internal and external training.
- Implementation and steady state support and contribute on internal development projects.
- Accelerate Time-to-Value for customers by iteratively delivering in short cycles.
- Continuously upskill on BYs product suite to convey relationships and touchpoints to the customer.
- Flexible working with overlapping time zones and work timings.
- Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities within existing customer projects.
- Create artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle and reducing errors post go-live
Qualifications:
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge on OS – Windows, Unix
- DB – RDBMS Concepts, Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL / PL SQL
- Cloud and Architectural – Azure or equivalent, Microservices Architecture, Multi-Tenant
- Implementation experience using SCPO Platform (Demand, SCP/ESP, Fulfill, S&OP, IO)
- Preferrable – Prior Blue Yonder Platform (PDC-Snowflake) and Cognitive planning exposure or trained
- Next Gen Skills – GenAI/Prompt Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Agile, Python, AI/ML, Cloud Fun, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS
- Databases/Data Platforms (emerging) – Snowflake, MongoDB, NoSQL
Professional Attributes:
- Excellent communication, inter-personal, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and project documentation skills
- Meticulous planning with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of Supply Chain Planning and how it integrates with other systems
- Any industry specific experience is a big plus
Reporting Skills:
- PowerBI, Cognos, etc.
What we are looking for:
- 4 to 20 years of experience in Software industry; ideally a candidate that has started as a consultant and has worked his/her way to leading the technical team on 3-6+ complete implementation cycles.
- Strong programming experience and problem-solving skills
- Technical background with Supply Chain Planning industry experience
- Expertise in performance tuning techniques and ability to assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises
- Possess technical expertise on PL/SQL, database, ETL, platform, Python and Perl scripting
- Demonstrable experience leading, building, deploying and maintenance of enterprise solutions (cloud or on-premises)
- Good understanding of web technologies and API fundamentals
- Strong understanding on cloud and architectural design (Azure or equivalent, Microservices Architecture, Multi-Tenant)
- Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder SCPO Platform
- Hands-on development skills should not have moved away from development activities
- Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written
