About The Job:
- We are seeking an experienced Client Infrastructure Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture, design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Cisco Client across large, complex enterprise networks.
- This role will own network access control (NAC) strategy and implementation—covering 802.1X, MAB, Guest, BYOD, Device Profiling, Posture, and integrations with DNAC/SDA, WLCs, switches, firewalls, SIEM, and ITSM.
- You will drive standards, reliability, security posture, automation, observability, and seamless user experience at scale.
- 10–14 years in enterprise network/security; 6+ years architecting and operating Cisco Client at scale.
- Strong in programming – C,C++ programming
- Strong background in network fundamentals (L2/L3, VLANs, STP, routing), wireless, and secure segmentation.
- RADIUS/TACACS+, 802.1X/EAP-TLS, MAB, dACLs, SGT/TrustSec, CoA.
- Client personas (PAN, MnT, PSN), clustering, HA, multi-site design.
- Guest/BYOD, device profiling, posture assessment.
- Certificates/PKI, CA integrations, certificate lifecycle.
- Integration with DNAC/SDA, WLCs, access/edge switches, firewalls, Active Directory/LDAP.
- pxGrid and ERS APIs; SIEM/ITSM integrations.
- Proven experience with large-scale migrations/upgrades and change management in production.
- Good programming skills in C in Linux environment
- Cisco Client (Architecture, Policy Sets, Dictionaries, Profiling, Posture, Guests, BYOD).
- Cisco DNAC/SDA, WLCs, Catalyst/IOS-XE switching, ASA/FTD/Firepower.
- Scripting/Automation: Python, Ansible; Client ERS/pxGrid APIs.
- Observability: Syslog, Splunk/Elastic, SNMP, NetFlow, health dashboards.
- Certificate management (EAP-TLS, SCEP, OCSP); Windows CA or equivalent.
- Ability to develop, troubleshoot and guide network stack and application/feature development in Linux
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Intune/Jamf (MDM/UEM), Okta/Azure AD (conditional access).
- Zero Trust architectures; SGT/TrustSec with scalable group policies.
- Knowledge of Client posture with AnyConnect, agentless posture.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi authentication models, Guest Sponsor Portal branding/customization.
- Exposure to SD-WAN, NAC alternatives (e.g., ClearPass), and multi-vendor environments.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: CCNP Security/Enterprise, CCIE (Security/Enterprise), Cisco Client Specialist/ENSA, Palo Alto/ASA certs, Security+, CISSP (nice-to-have).
