About The Job:
- Should have strong experience in Service Delivery Manager, ITSM, ITILV4, IT Asset Management ITAM and Configuration Management CMDB
- The ITIL Asset Configuration Manager is responsible for end-to-end governance of IT Asset Management ITAM and Configuration Management CMDB in alignment with ITIL best practices
- The role ensures accuracy integrity and compliance of asset and configuration data to support effective service delivery risk reduction and cost optimization Strong knowledge of HWSW Asset Management andor Configuration management ITIL v4 certified.
- IT Asset Management ITAM Own and govern the entire lifecycle of IT assets including hardware software licenses and cloud assets Ensure accurate tracking of asset procurement deployment utilization and retirement Drive cost optimization through effective asset utilization
- license compliance and avoidance of over-provisioning Support audits compliance reviews and financial reconciliation related to IT assets 2 Configuration Management CMDB Governance Own the Configuration
- Management process in line with ITIL standards Ensure the CMDB is accurate complete and up to date across all configuration items CIs Define and maintain CI models relationships and naming conventions Ensure integration of CMDB with Incident Problem Change Release and Asset Management processes 3 Data Quality Audits Compliance
- Define and enforce data quality standards for asset and configuration records Conduct regular audits and reconciliation to ensure CMDB accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with organizational regulatory and customer-specific requirements Support internal and external audits with required documentation and evidence 4 Process Governance
- Continuous Improvement Establish governance KPIs and reporting for Asset and Configuration Management processes Identify gaps risks and improvement opportunities in ITAM and CMDB processes Drive process standardization and continuous improvement
- initiatives 5 Tooling Automation Manage and optimize ITSM ITAM tools used for Asset and Configuration
- Management Drive automation of asset discovery reconciliation and reporting to reduce manual effort Ensure effective integration with monitoring discovery and financial systems 6 Stakeholder Vendor Management Work closely with Service
- Management Operations Finance Procurement and Vendors Ensure vendor compliance with asset reporting and configuration data requirements Act as a key advisor to leadership on asset and configuration risks and opportunities
- Total exp: 8 + yrs
- Competencies Strong expertise in ITIL Asset Management and Configuration Management
- Hands-on experience managing CMDB and ITAM tools Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management lifecycle Analytical mindset with high attention to data accuracy
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills Ability to drive governance audits and continuous improvement
- Bachelors degree in engineering IT Business or equivalent ITIL v4
- certification mandatory or strongly preferred Experience with leading ITSM tools ServiceNow BMC Client etc
- Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives
