About the Team


The Operating Services team is a central function that supports Mizuho Pune by driving operational efficiency, governance, and process standardization. The team integrates key enabling capabilities, including Chief of Staff, COO support, Business Management, Transition Management (TMO), Value / Benefits Realization (VRO) and Communications.


It provides structured oversight to ensure consistent execution of transitions, knowledge transfer, and change initiatives, while maintaining strong adherence to internal policies, controls, and risk management frameworks. Through its integrated approach, the team enables effective demand management, enhances operational performance, and supports the delivery of strategic priorities across Mizuho Pune.



Summary


In this role, you will support the Value Realization Office (including benefits realization) by tracking and driving value delivery across strategic initiatives. You will work closely with Business, Finance, and Transition teams to ensure outcomes from approved business cases are clearly defined, tracked, and realized.


The role focuses on value tracking, governance, and insights to improve transparency, support decision-making, and drive accountability.


Responsibilities


  • Apply and refine the Value / Benefits Realization framework, including value drivers, metrics, and standard templates across programs and towers
  • Track business case baselines, assumptions, and value targets; monitor variances and highlight deviations
  • Own and maintain value tracking dashboards, providing a clear view of baseline vs actuals, key variances, and actions
  • Monitor realization of benefits (cost, productivity, efficiency); identify risks or gaps and support corrective actions
  • Identify and highlight value leakage drivers (e.g., transition delays, extended overlap, scope changes) and work with stakeholders on mitigation
  • Collaborate with Business, Finance, Transition, and Delivery teams to align value tracking with transition plans, hiring progress, and key milestones
  • Support governance forums (monthly / quarterly) by preparing clear dashboards, reports, and insights for leadership discussions
  • Partner with Finance to ensure alignment between value tracking and financial reporting, including validation of realized benefits
  • Identify improvements in tracking, reporting, or processes to enhance visibility and efficiency
  • Maintain structured documentation of business cases, assumptions, and tracking outputs to ensure consistency and traceability


Qualifications


  • 10+ years of experience in value / benefits realization, financial analysis, business transformation, or PMO roles within banking or technology environments
  • Experience tracking business cases, benefits realization, and performance metrics across programs or portfolios
  • Exposure to transition or large-scale change programs preferred (e.g., GCC, offshoring, transformation initiatives)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and highlight clear insights
  • Experience working with dashboards, reporting tools, and financial data
  • Good stakeholder management skills with ability to work across business, finance, and delivery teams
  • Ability to prepare structured governance materials and communicate clearly in leadership forums
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship
