Responsibilities (List all)
Provides engineering direction and guidance for projects supporting North American products and systems.
Leads crossfunctional collaboration with product management, manufacturing, quality, and global engineering teams.
Supports design, development, and refinement of mechanical or electromechanical components used across forecourt and retail technology platforms.
Contributes to innovation initiatives aligned with Gilbarco's longterm product roadmap, known for forwardthinking integrated systems.
Drives rootcause analysis and resolution of engineering issues affecting performance, reliability, or manufacturability.
Ensures robust engineering practices are applied throughout product lifecycle phases.
Provides engineering support to North America Engineering teams, aligning global resources with regional needs.
Contributes to Gilbarco's mission of delivering integrated, futureready fueling and retail technology solutions recognized globally for innovation and reliability.
Creating, reviewing, and mentoring team members with various ECN tasks.
Essential
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, AutoCAD)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM/DFA principles
Experience with rootcause analysis methodologies (8D, Fishbone, FMEA)
Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T
Strong understanding of mechanical and electromechanical systems engineering
Experience with product design, development, and lifecycle engineering
Preferable
Master's degree
Experience performing DFM optimization, costreduction engineering, or VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering).
Experience coordinating with manufacturing plants, suppliers, and quality teams.
