Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and certified X-Ray Operator to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment. The candidate will ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and compliance with medical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate X-ray machines to produce diagnostic images as per physician instructions
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly
Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed
Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment regularly
Keep accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Follow hospital and regulatory guidelines (AERB standards)
Assist radiologists in advanced imaging procedures when required
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology
Valid AERB certification (mandatory)
Registration with relevant medical or paramedical council
1–3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
Freshers may be considered for junior roles
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and patient-handling skills
Ability to work in shifts
Basic computer and medical record system knowledge
Preferred Experience
Experience in hospitals, diagnostic centers, or imaging clinics
Knowledge of digital radiography (DR) systems
