Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Author and configure MES recipes to support production processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with process engineers and manufacturing teams to capture requirements.
- Ensure recipes align with GMP, compliance, and quality standards.
- Integrate MES recipes with automation systems, ERP, and shop-floor equipment.
- Troubleshoot recipe execution issues and optimize for efficiency.
- Document recipe logic, parameters, and configurations for audit readiness.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior MES engineers.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in MES platforms (Siemens Opcenter, Werum Client-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience in recipe authoring, configuration, and validation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes in pharma, biotech, or discrete industries.
- Familiarity with automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and ERP integration.
- Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing.
- Exposure to ISA-88 batch standards and recipe modeling.
- Knowledge of data integrity and audit trail requirements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
