  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality services and expediting, particularly in large-scale industrial projects such as ports, logistics, railways, or cranes, with a focus on coordination with foreign suppliers or OEMs.
  • Proven expertise in quality control tools and instruments, inspection methods, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards, drawing interpretation, and material testing.
  • Coordinate and execute timely and effective inspections, quality documentation reviews, and surveillance inspections at supplier locations in China.
  • Conduct technical audits and vendor evaluations to ensure adherence to company quality standards and project requirements.
  • Verify supplier quality documents and inspection records, ensuring completeness and compliance before issuing Inspection Release Notes (IRN) or Material Dispatch Clearance Certificates (MDCC).
  • Expedite the delivery of bought-out items from vendors and sub-vendors to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Perform thorough reviews of GFC Drawings, Detail Drawings, BOQ, Datasheets, QAP, ITP, Working Procedures, and Contract Specifications.
  • Conduct tests and inspections as per approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and coordinate with manufacturers, Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPIA), and Owners' Engineers.
  • Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to manufacturers based on inspection findings and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with TPIA and Project Quality Managers.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Quality Manager on quality control progress, inspection and test statuses, quality issues, and NCR resolutions.
  • Prepare and manage punch lists in coordination with TPIA, Owners' Engineers, and Project Quality Managers, ensuring timely closure of identified items.
  • Maintain and verify all project quality control records and submittals to ensure compliance with contract quality requirements.
