Job Title: Business Development Manager - Herbal Extracts (B2B Sales)

Location: Delhi / NCR

Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-performing B2B Sales professional with strong experience in herbal extracts / nutraceutical / pharma raw materials to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strategic client relationships across India.

This role requires a hunter mindset, ownership of revenue targets, and the ability to independently develop new business in the herbal extract ingredients segment.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive end-to-end B2B sales of herbal extracts and nutraceutical ingredients
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets ( Cr level)
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in pharma, nutraceutical, and dietary supplement companies
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through lead generation and prospecting

Client & Account Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts and institutional clients
  • Handle client negotiations, commercial discussions, and contract closures
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities

Market Expansion

  • Identify new markets, segments, and applications for herbal extracts
  • Conduct market research, demand analysis, and competitor tracking
  • Develop strategies for territory expansion and market penetration

Product & Strategy

  • Work closely with R&D and product teams on New Product Development (NPD)
  • Support product launches and commercialization strategies
  • Understand product applications, formulations, and industry trends

Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM updates
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure high client satisfaction

Candidate Profile:

Must Have:

  • 8-12 years of experience in:
    • Herbal Extracts / Botanical Ingredients
    • Nutraceutical Ingredients
    • Pharma Raw Materials / APIs
  • Strong exposure to B2B / Institutional Sales (NOT FMCG / Retail)
  • Proven track record of new business development & client acquisition
  • Experience handling Cr-level revenue targets
  • Strong network with pharma / nutraceutical companies

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to NPD / product launches
  • Understanding of herbal extract applications & formulations
  • Experience in international markets/export sales
