About The Client:

Qualifications:
- At least 10+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server Developer/DBA with strong expertise in database administration and development.
- Hands-on experience in database migration projects into AWS cloud environments.
- Experience migrating MongoDB databases to AWS DocumentDB.
- Strong experience with AWS RDS administration, performance tuning, security, and implementation of best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS DMS (Database Migration Service) and related migration tools for data transfer and transformation.
- Experience in building and managing AWS RDS infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python/Java) integrated with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Expertise in maintaining high-performance batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Databricks Delta Live Tables.
- Strong experience in designing, implementing, and administering cloud-based database solutions in Client RDS.
- Proven experience with on-premises to cloud migration strategies and execution.
- Experience working within ITIL framework processes and standards.
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle methodologies with hands-on experience in Agile, Kanban, and JIRA.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and administration principles.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Confluence for service management and collaboration.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and Kanban practices.
- Experience using database monitoring and performance tools such as Foglight.
- Knowledge and understanding of GDPR principles and data privacy compliance requirements.
- Ensure high levels of database availability, reliability, performance, and service delivery.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for production database issues.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Ability to optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and capacity planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing database security, user access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to document technical processes, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Experience supporting production environments and managing incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Certification in MS SQL Server (2016/2019.2022)
