BASIC FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trained Graduate Teacher in Science/EVS to
join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality
instruction in various science subjects, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting
the academic growth of students of middle school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Instruction and Curriculum Development:
Design, plan, and deliver engaging lessons in [Specify Science Subjects, e.g., Physics,
Chemistry, Biology].
Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum
standards and educational goals.
Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and other evaluation
methods.
2. Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioural issues and
promote student engagement.
3. Student Support:
Provide individual and group support to students to help them achieve their academic
goals.
Offer guidance and mentorship to students on academic and career matters.
4. Collaboration:
Work closely with other teachers and staff to integrate science education with other
subjects.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
5. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
Prepare and submit reports on student performance and academic progress as required.
6. Parent and Community Engagement:
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and any
concerns.
Engage with the community to promote science education and support school initiatives.

Requirements / Qualifications :
PG in Education B.Ed. with 3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of relevant educational curricula and teaching methodologies.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching children.
