  • Manage monthly cloud budget and forecast process in managing consumption and savings in collaboration with accounting, finance, and technical owners.
  • Support stakeholders in understanding their cloud spend based on their business roadmap and budgeted forecast.
  • Monitor cloud consumption at the account level to detect, investigate, and escalate anomalies and unplanned spikes.
  • Analyze, report, and produce meaningful insights from large raw datasets within cloud billing and usage tools, data lake, CMDB, and other asset inventories as applicable.
  • Collaborate with Cost Optimization Engineers to track resource utilization to define and execute relevant cloud commitment plans and to define strategies to re-purpose free capacity.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and KPIs that provide detailed usage statistics of resources across the multi cloud landscape.
  • Evaluate and investigate data patterns to derive insightful knowledge that can inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Participate in automating, integrating, and maturing the Cloud FinOps processes and data.
  • Ability to understand problems, identify opportunities for improvement and provide solutions and innovative cost-cutting initiatives
  • IT MIS preparation - for IT department including Financial and Internal
  • Assisting in preparing Cloud Budgets and tracking expenses against them
  • Monthly Provisioning of cloud expenses, co-ordination with internal Finance team for timely PO, Invoicing and Payments.
  • Coordinate with different business functions including IT department, Business verticals, PMO, Fincon, APPC team and to ensure corrective measures on financial MIS
  • Good working knowledge in MS-Excel, Oracle, (MS Access and Macros additional advantage)
  • Structuring of Processes and automation of manual activities



  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Cloud FinOps/Cloud Spend optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
  • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Good knowledge of public cloud players (AWS, Azure), their product portfolio and commercial models.
  • Knowledge of the core Finance principles and basic understanding of the corporate accounting process (forecast, invoicing, show back, accruals, procurement, etc.)
  • Ability to properly structure, model and visualize cloud platform data to support decision making.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to leaders.
  • Aptitude to learn and understand new concepts and technologies to become an expert in the field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate successfully in a lean, agile, and fast-paced organization.
  • Possess a current FinOps certification, or ability to attain within 12 months.
