Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Consultant with expertise in Automation Platform Testing to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing automation frameworks and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our testing processes and ensure the reliability of our automation platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various applications and platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Provide training and support to junior team members on automation testing best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the software development lifecycle.
• Proven experience in Automation Platform Testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Understanding of cloud-based testing environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
