Job Purpose<\/span><\/u><\/b> This position exists with the objective of ensuring overall operations supervision at onsite<\/span> The Supervisor ensures that the clients interacting with them are satisfied with Saahas Zero Waste services and should set the tone and vision for the field staff.<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Implement quality assurance and control systems for waste operation at onsite<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Documentation and Data management \- Waste and onsite staff<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in the transfer of waste to destination<\/span><\/i> Job Responsibilities<\/span><\/u><\/b> Waste Management Operations<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/i> W1. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage onsite waste management operations including waste flow, quality of waste, W2. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Staff management including selection, induction, training & development, competence assessment<\/span> W3. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Logistics\/fleet management<\/span> W4. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Enable operations team to execute client requirements<\/span> W5. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure SOPs are executed on the field with attention to detail<\/span> W6. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supervisors are responsible for the precise processing of the different waste streams. <\/span> W7. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor standard operations and resolve any deviations<\/span> W8. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supervisors must know how to work all of the equipment for waste processing.<\/span> W9. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Motivate team to optimize and constantly improve performance while following procedures and maintaining a safe, hygienic and dignified work environment<\/span> Documentation:<\/span><\/b> D1. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supervisors must coordinate and regularly communicate with their team (Project Managers and Operations Managers) through messages, calls, and meetings.<\/span> D2. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Staff onboarding prior to joining operations \- work, materials, rules, and expectations.<\/span> D3. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Regularly enter reliable data regarding operations and report client experience<\/span> D4. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Record any near misses, incidents and accidents in database and ensure corrective actions to prevent recurrence. <\/span> D5. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Track & document type and quantity of waste is generated at the client location.<\/span> D6. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Flag any major change in the quantities to the <\/span>Project Manager<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/b> Management and Administration:<\/span><\/b> M1. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Allocate work to Field Staff and manage workload<\/span> M2. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Mitigate\/Communicate\/Escalate any concerns\/issues voiced by Field Staff <\/span> M3. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate internally with various teams to meet client requirements<\/span> M4. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Elicit and ensure participation of Field Staff in defining SOPs, identifying hazards and ensuring work place safety<\/span> M5. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Weekly training to staff to ensure compliance with SOPs <\/span> M6. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Understand contract requirements in coordination with Project Managers<\/span> M7. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet clients regularly to ensure client satisfaction and adjust processes if required<\/span> M8. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure client side trainings are completed <\/span>
