SAP PM Consultant (Mid-Level)

• The ideal candidate should have experience in end-to-end plant maintenance processes, including preventive maintenance, work order management, and integration with other SAP modules.
• This role requires strong problem-solving skills, functional expertise, and the ability to collaborate with business users and IT teams.

SAP PM Implementation & Support:

• Work on SAP ECC.
• Work on SAP batch jobs error rectification.
• IDOCS Configure and implement SAP PM solutions, including Equipment Management, Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Notifications, and Breakdown Maintenance.
• Service Orders.
• Support end-to-end Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes and optimize plant maintenance workflows.
• Assist in SAP S/4HANA PM migration and implementation projects (if applicable).

Business Process Analysis & Optimization:

• Gather business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and propose SAP PM solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve maintenance strategies, asset tracking, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
• Implement calibration processes, warranty tracking, and maintenance cost analysis.

Configuration & Integration:

• Configure key PM components, including Functional Locations & Equipment Master Data.
• Maintenance Plans & Task Lists.
• Work Order Processing & Notifications.
• Breakdown, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP PM with MM (Material Management), FI (Finance), and CO (Controlling) modules.
• Work with ABAP developers for enhancements, reports, and workflows.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Develop reports using SAP standard PM reports, SAP Query, and Fiori Apps.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and industry maintenance standards.
• Support audit and compliance reporting related to asset maintenance.
• Support & User Training: Provide L2/L3 support for SAP PM-related incidents and troubleshooting.
• Conduct end-user training and prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
• Experience: 3.6 years of hands-on experience in SAP PM implementation and support.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in Plant Maintenance processes such as work orders, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and calibration.
• Experience in configuring Functional Locations, Equipment, Maintenance Plans, and Notifications.
• Understanding of Maintenance Costing and Integration with FI/CO, MM, and SD.
• Knowledge of LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and IDocs (a plus).
• Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging (preferred).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor?s degree in engineering, Maintenance, IT, or a related field.
• SAP PM certification is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SAP S/4HANA PM and Fiori apps for maintenance management.
• Knowledge of IoT-based Predictive Maintenance and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) integration for asset tracking.
