JOB SUMMARY:
Install, configure and upgrade Databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL server software and related products in a Windows environment.
Design, create, maintain of Microsoft SQL Server databases in a Windows environment.
Performance monitoring of MS-SQL Databases and procedures.
Control and monitor user access to databases and maintain database security.
Provide reliable, recoverable and scalable database computing environments to store and integrate company data.
Responsible for support of production and non-production databases.
This position requires the candidate to work in 24x7 rotational shift supporting global operations.
You must have database experience working in a Sun Solaris or LINUX and Windows environment.
Enterprise production DBA experience working in a mid to large sized company required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expert skills in MS-SQL database backup and recovery.
Extensive experience with MS-SQL Server 2016/2017 databases Experience implementation and maintenance of highly available, scalable MS-SQL database solutions oExtensive experience in SQL tuning and MS-SQL database performance tuning.
Experience utilizing MS-SQL Server Management Studio for monitoring and management .Strong UNIX shell scripting experience. oExcellent communication, customer service and people skills.
This role requires the selected person to work in shifts in a 24X7 production environment.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelors degree and 3+ years IT-relevant work experience OR 5+ years IT-relevant work experience with a bachelors degree.
