This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
Professional Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)
Work experience
5+ years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm
If the candidate is an ICAI affiliate, CA articleship with top or mid -tier accounting firm.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
Demonstrates strong leadership in managing audit teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Builds stakeholder trust through clear communication, strategic thinking, and effective people development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft software's like Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint
Experience with working independently on multiple assignments or engagements
Key behavioral attributes/requirements
Ability to form strong working relationship with colleagues.
Roles & responsibilities
Audit engagement Manager role on multiple audit engagements. Demonstrate deep technical expertise around audit and accounting topics through review of the audit files covering- Risk assessment, Planning, Audit testing and Completion stages of the audit
Lead your audit team of graduates and qualified CA/ACCA professionals involved in the delivery of statutory audits of the international clients
Active client relationship management along with resource management and monitoring team's performance. Overall project management including keeping track of audit delivery timelines, engagement budgets & drive timely resolution of key observations and challenges.
Demonstrate innovative mindset through use of various audit tools in order to deliver effective & efficient audits
Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts contributing to the overall business growth
Actively participate in team development activities like delivering technical training sessions, acting as the performance manager, mentoring the junior team members to support building most competent audit teams
