DGM- Section Head - Electrical Commissioning

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
12+ years of experience in electrical commissioning roles within power, EPC, or energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, plan, and execute commissioning of electrical systems including switchyards, substations, transformers, protection systems, motors, and plant electrical equipment.
Develop commissioning strategies, schedules, and procedures aligned with project and safety standards.
Oversee precommissioning, functional testing, and performance validation of electrical systems.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, automation, and operations teams to ensure interface readiness.
Review drawings, engineering documents, protection schemes, and test reports for technical accuracy.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and statutory electrical standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing or energization phases.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality and technical specifications.
Prepare commissioning documentation and ensure smooth handover to operations.
Mentor and guide site commissioning teams to drive excellence and collaboration.
