Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior L2 Support Engineer with strong expertise in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and hands-on experience in Python, .NET, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application support for HFM systems ensuring uptime and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues within SLA timelines
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
• Develop automation scripts using Python / .NET to improve efficiency
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution
• Coordinate with L1 support, developers, and business stakeholders
• Monitor application performance and proactively address risks
• Support financial closing cycles (month-end/year-end)
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base
• Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, and quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Application/Production Support
• Strong expertise in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
• Hands-on experience in Python, .NET, and SQL
• Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
• Understanding of financial systems and reporting workflows
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in rotational shifts (7 AM - 11 PM IST)
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle Hyperion suite
• Exposure to automation in support environments
• Knowledge of financial consolidation and reporting systems
