- You will be part of the Services and Platforms organization, that provides next-level cloud, data, and AI solutions that unleash digital magic for Disney. - Manages projects and programs with Engineering teams on development and implementation of products or solutions.
- Understands technical requirements across multiple development teams to build one platform schedule
- Liaisons with peer Technical Program managers to ensure end to end on time delivery on the platform
- Has technical depth and domain expertise in building AI Platforms
- Manages programs/projects using DevOps Agile practices
- Suggests/Influences system architectural options to make valuable tradeoffs
- Establish and drive operational readiness activities such as privacy, legal, and security reviews; release management activities; and management of team analytics and dashboards
- Collaborates with Engineering teams, Technical Product managers, Executives, Business partners and develops trackable processes
- Manages platform financials and funding models
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and resources
- Supports executive platform communications, status reports, and reviews
- Uses an Agile framework, specifically with an MVP and iterative approach
- Brings to bear techniques to increase collaboration, predictability, and transparency for the team while promoting a culture of experimentation and innovation
- Champions organization-wide processes and best practices related to ideation, delivery, prioritization, and customer engagement
- Uses a lifelong learning mentality, knowing the latest best practices and technologies
- Communicate expectations to partners and leaders, and optimally resets expectations as priorities or deliverables shift
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in a technical engineering role (software, data, or systems) or technical product/program management.
- Proven experience driving highly strategic programs, large scale application/data deployments, managing software or data development lifecycles, and resolving issues that impact product success
- Experienced in SCRUM/Lean Agile frameworks with an MVP/iterative approach
- Ability to influence, take calculated risks, make sound business and technical decisions, and resolve concerns as needed
- Excellent interpersonal, business development, and communication skills (both written & verbal for both technical and non-technical audiences)
- Positive can-do partnership demeanor while working with cross-functional engineering teams and business units
- Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations geared for Senior and Executive Management
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast paced environment
- Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile delivery
- Certification in one or more cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure)
- Ability to work with large data sets for analysis and interpretation of business results
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
