SAP authorization Consultant

About The Job:

• Qualcomm IT is seeking an experienced analyst in the Payroll domain to implement and support our global payroll and related feeder systems.
• Responsibilities include:
• Handling of all operational day-to-day support activities for security/authorizations including ticket resolution
• Technical solution design, build, test and implementation of new business authorization requirements
• Performing control reviews and risk assessments
• Actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities and leading improvement initiatives
• Developing authorization concepts in the context of implementation projects
• Scheduling and Managing Background jobs
• Supporting Security Audit across all clients of project and Refresh activities from authorization perspective.
• Troubleshooting issues, coordinate fixes and, track and report them to completion
• Communicate effectively on functional and technical aspects to ensure successful delivery
• Attend scheduled calls outside of local working hours

Essential Job Functions:

• Security Management, Roles and Profile authorization and User Administration.
• Extensive Knowledge of User Groups and User Administration.
• Processing of SAP HCM and related HR applications user accounts, permissions and access rights requests
• Role Maintenance: Creating single, composite and derived roles; Copying from SAP standard roles; creating role templates or using SAP delivered templates; transporting roles from development system to quality and finally into production systems; Deleting roles.
• Authorization Profiles: Generating authorizations and authorization profiles, user reconciliation, inserting missing authorizations, maintaining open authorization fields and organizational values; having good knowledge over SU53 dump, ST01 trace, object classes, objects, fields, field values, authorizations and profiles.
• Working with user information system (SUIM), maintaining check maintain values (SU24) and roles (AGR*) tables
• Use of SU24 to check the standard T code authorization objects and SU53 for missing authorization
• Experience in analyzing and processing, SOD and SOX issues.
• Performed User Master Reconciliation using (PFUD and SUPC).
• Implementation and maintenance of Central User Administration (CUA).
• Experience in creating and Authorization Groups for securing Tables & Programs using SE54 and RSCSAUTH.
• Strong knowledge of Security related tables and reports/programs
• Review critical and sensitive authorizations, implemented improvements to meet audit requirements.
• Generated Audit Information Systems (AIS) logs (SM19, SM20, SM18)
• Handling of all operational day-to-day support activities for security/authorizations including ticket resolution
• Technical solution design, build, test and implementation of new business authorization requirements

Qualifications:

• Min. relevant work experience of 8-10 years
• Sound knowledge in authorization user authorization trouble shoot, user management, role management and transport management
• Good understanding in analyzing the user issues and processing SOD with basic knowledge of SAP functional areas
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong knowledge in SAP R/3 security, GRC Security and Fiori security is added advantage.
• Knowledge in using GRC or equivalent Tool for handling SOD conflicts
