This role is designed for an experienced frontend engineer who thrives in building scalable, high-performance web applications in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will play a key role in designing and delivering modern user interfaces that directly impact customer experience and product success. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to technical design decisions, architecture discussions, and end-to-end feature development. You will also work with modern frontend technologies and help shape engineering best practices within the team. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex frontend applications using modern web technologies.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decision-making to ensure scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into functional user interfaces.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain clean, efficient, and well-structured codebases.
- Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to development processes and best practices.
- Support deployment activities and configuration changes across production and non-production environments.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
- Contribute to automation, testing practices, and overall engineering quality standards.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Svelte (React preferred or willingness to learn).
- Solid understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and trade-offs.
- Experience with test-driven development and writing automated unit and integration tests.
- Good understanding of HTTP/HTTP2 protocols and web application performance considerations.
- Strong knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end product features in production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed, cross-functional teams.
