Senior Manager-Record to Report-Finance Controllers
| Playing a key part in the remediation of Balance Sheet reconciliations, aim is to improve the quality of reconciliations so that they meet pre agreed remediation criteria and quality and efficiency standards. This will require you to understand the purpose of balance sheet accounts, perform root cause analysis, understand data and process flows. You will need to quickly build up a good understanding of business and finance processes and systems. Often analysing high volumes of data, attention to detail is required together with the ability to stand back, see the bigger picture, understand key issues and identify opportunities to implement process improvements. Condidate will need to be pragmatic in your approach, offering alternative ways to resolve long standing issues. Together with your leader you will use the information you have gathered to design reconciliation approaches that provide clarity, efficiency, control and identifies risk quickly and accurately. You will document these approaches clearly and succinctly. You will need excellent stakeholder management skills as you will be working closely with and influencing other teams to assist you to understand current and design new processes and resolve long standing issues. |
Chartered Accountant from icai or equivalent international degrees from UK/US.
Big 4 experience is preferrable
- Responsible for the remediation of an allocation of balance sheet reconciliations. To pre agreed criteria.
- You will provide efficient, sustainable solutions to complex problems
- You will monitor progress against targets set for yourself and your team
- You will work collaboratively with stakeholders and the broader team to agree deliverables, design new reconciliation approaches and implement etc.
- You will need to have the ability to challenge current processes, remove wasted effort while maintaining control
- You will need to the ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities can change
