Onsite - Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist - US Recruitment

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist with at least 6 months of hands-on experience in US recruitment. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the US hiring process, sourcing channels, compliance requirements, and candidate engagement. This is an onsite role based in our Magarpatta, Pune office.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End US Recruitment
Handle full recruitment lifecycle for US-based positions.
Source candidates through job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
Conduct initial screening, evaluate technical/functional skills, and verify candidate experience.
2. Sourcing & Resume Screening
Create job postings and actively source quality candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time roles.
Use Boolean search techniques for targeted sourcing on US job portals and LinkedIn.
3. Candidate Coordination
Schedule interviews with clients/vendors and ensure a smooth communication flow.
Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process to maintain high engagement and conversion rates.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Work with candidates on work authorization types (USC, GC, H1B, TN, OPT, CPT, EAD, etc.).
Maintain compliance with US hiring laws, documentation standards, and onboarding procedures.
Ensure proper submission formats following client/vendor requirements.
5. Client & Vendor Communication
Coordinate with US clients and vendor partners for candidate submissions, interview updates, and hiring feedback.
Maintain strong relationships to support high-quality hiring delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 6 months of experience in US IT / Non-IT recruitment.
Strong understanding of US tax terms (W2, 1099, C2C) and employment types.
Hands-on experience with US job portals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of time zones, immigration/work authorizations, and candidate engagement practices.
Must be comfortable working in US shifts (night shift).
