Onsite - Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist cum Manager - Domestic Recruitment

We are seeking a highly driven Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist cum Manager to oversee and execute end-to-end domestic hiring operations across India. This role combines strong hands-on recruitment expertise with people management, process optimization, and stakeholder partnership. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the Indian recruitment market, excellent sourcing capabilities, and leadership qualities to drive hiring success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring Delivery
Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid-level to senior-level positions across multiple functions.
Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, social media, networking, referrals, and internal databases.
Conduct resume screening, candidate evaluation, interview scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
Ensure a strong and continuous pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and recurring roles.
2. Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the internal recruitment team to ensure performance excellence.
Allocate requisitions, monitor KPIs, and guide recruiters on sourcing, screening, and client interaction.
Conduct training sessions for recruiters to improve sourcing techniques, communication, and talent evaluation skills.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management
Understand hiring needs of internal stakeholders or clients and provide strategic hiring recommendations.
Coordinate closely with hiring managers to ensure clear job briefs, timely updates, and smooth interview processes.
Build strong relationships with leadership to forecast future hiring needs and optimize workforce planning.
4. Recruitment Strategy & Process Optimization
Create data-driven hiring strategies to reduce time-to-fill and improve quality of hire.
Maintain and enhance recruitment dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with organizational recruitment standards, documentation, and processes.
Recommend improvements to recruitment tools, ATS usage, and sourcing methods.
5. Market Intelligence
Stay updated on trends in domestic recruitment, industry salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring strategies.
Provide insights to leadership for better decision-making and planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of experience in domestic recruitment, with at least 2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
Strong experience hiring for IT, Non-IT, BPO, BFSI, Engineering, or Manufacturing domains (any combination welcome).
Hands-on expertise with job portals (Naukri, Shine, Monster), LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and Boolean search techniques.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
