Proof Point Email Security Strong experience with email security fundamentals including layered architecture of protection mechanisms and protocols like SMTP, SMTP Auth etc Configure, diagnose, and troubleshoot emails using in-depth understanding of Proofpoint Modules (e.g. Insider Threat, Prevention of Email Compromise, Password Protection, Quarantine messages, Email whitelisting/blacklisting, Proofpoint Browser Isolation). Implement email security standards such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC. Provide technical L3 support and troubleshooting assistance for Proofpoint-related issues. Ability to understand,identify,recommend and implement security capabilities, processes and procedures to prevent malware,phishing and social engineering attacks Hands-on experiemce in implementing email security preferably Proofpoint solutions including managing securty policies, utilizing vendor tools for threat analysis and applying Data Loss Preventon(DLP) Technical Expertise Solid knowledge of IT and cybersecurity regulatory frameworks, standards and methodologies Experience working with cloud-bases SaaS platforms and emerging cloud use cases across web,mobile and enterprise environment Experience in design and delivery of email, collaboration, Data Classification, Data Encryption, Data Discovery, DLP solutions and technologies Extensive experience in implementing data protection stratergies and cybersecurity controls to safeguard enterprise systems. Leadership and Stakeholder Management Skills Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience of understanding and meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders Drive a customer-focused, collaborative culture through stakeholder engagement and ensures propmt, effective response to data breaches and security incidents to minimize customer impact Able to translate coaching needs into organizational performance goals and designs,documents and implements coaching plans while promoting effective mentoring practics Capable of collaborating with product teams & developers to integrate data protection principles into customer facing initiative and product development processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on evidence documentation, assessment reporting, and presenting compliance positions. Education, Certifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Proven experience delivering results within high performing teams of cybersecurity SMEs
