The role is the Programme Manager for our culture activity across the UK firm. This is a critical programme which supports the delivery of our UK strategy and reports quarterly to the Culture Steering Committee comprising stakeholders from our Board and Executive Committee.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Programme Manager with proven experience in delivering a PMO role on high profile projects. The candidate will be part of central Culture, Engagement and Wellbeing team and will be performance managed by the Director within the team.
The Programme Manager will be a key member of the programme team, working closely with colleagues leading culture programmes across the firm. The purpose of the role is to drive the co-ordination of firmwide culture programmes applying strong governance, thereby helping the workstream leads to manage dependencies, risks, costs and stakeholder expectations. The Programme Manager is also responsible for the production of the quarterly culture dashboard, a key tool to measure our culture.

Track records of successfully managing large-scale projects or programmes of activity to time and budget, preferably in a professional service environment
Able to operate strategically but also have a willingness and demonstrated ability to roll your sleeves up, use your initiative and push activity forwards
High attention to detail, particularly in relation to data, applying an inquisitive mindset to information received.
Comfortable driving projects forward using recognised best practice project management approaches, tools and phases of system implementation projects
Organised, with the ability to prioritise activities having regard to strategic, operational, commercial and tactical needs
Strong stakeholder skills, ability to build strong engaging relationships quickly with colleagues across the organisation, with a high impact in one on one / group / workshop situations
Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere; with experience of working under pressure, being flexible in approach, within a challenging stakeholder environment at pace
Demonstrated ability to use their initiative to develop solutions and able to work in ambiguous situations
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent active listening skills, with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, including C-suite level
Project management certification or designation - desired
Develop a strong understanding of the culture programmes operating across the firm, ensuring outcomes align to our culture ambition.
Delivery of project management methodology to the project; co-ordinating tasks and activities, managing to deadlines, anticipating challenges, difficulties and pressure points
Preparation of the quarterly Culture Dashboard, co-ordinating data points from multiple sources, and ensuring data integrity in the production of the dashboard and associated commentary.
Preparation of quarterly Culture Steering Committee updates and attendance at Steering Committee meetings.
Tracking the progress of the project, challenging workstream leads and other stakeholders. You will have responsibility for monitoring the overall shape and deliverability of the plan. You will highlight activities that are off track to the Culture Lead so timely interventions can be made
Build strong working relationships across the firm, including Risk, Learning, Audit Culture Programme Lead.
Programme Management for the firmwide Our Values in Action programme, including establishing project management methodology for the project and managing the Capability Project Managers.
Supporting the wider Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing team including running culture focus groups and other culture initiatives.
