Job Role- Renewable Energy Engineer – (3 Positions)

Work Location- Vijayawada/Visakhapatnam/Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh)

Level- Associate/ Senior Associate

PwC is looking for candidates with 2+ years of experience in renewable energy, B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical) + Master’s degree (preferred), and prior experience supporting utilities / RE agencies in project monitoring or implementation .

Advantage: Exposure to rooftop solar / net metering / PM-KUSUM schemes , experience in field-level coordination, inspections, or vendor management , familiarity with DISCOM processes , and experience in MIS-based tracking and reporting .

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree (preferred)

Must Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in renewable energy projects
• Experience of supporting utilities / RE agencies in project monitoring or implementation

Key Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of India’s renewable energy sector
• Experience with government programs and DISCOM processes
• Multi-stakeholder and field-level coordination
• Execution monitoring and data reporting
• Basic technical understanding of solar PV systems
• Proficient in MS Excel and documentation

Brief Responsibilities:

• Monitor PMSGMBY and PM-KUSUM implementation at the field level.
• Track applications, approvals, installations, commissioning, inspections, net metering, and subsidy processes.
• Support vendor performance, quality assurance, and compliance.
• Maintain MIS data, field records, and dashboards.
• Manage grievance tracking and district/circle-level review meetings.
• Assist with outreach and capacity-building initiatives.
• Provide input for reports, dashboards, and analyses.
