Assistant Manager Finance
Job Description
Eligibility - CA or ACCA with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience + Audit experience from Big 4 or leading accounting/advisory firm experience or an internal finance role within an internationally organised consulting, advisory, legal or other professional services business or a combination of both will be relevant for this role
Key Responsibilities -
• Supporting the month-end close and reporting process;
• Reviewing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Coordinating with outsourced accounting providers and local advisors;
• Supporting the audit process;
• Overseeing accounts payable, invoicing and employee expense processes;
• Supporting payroll coordination with local payroll providers;
• Assisting with intercompany reconciliations and funding processes;
• Assisting with budgeting, utilisation and WIP reporting;
• Supporting regulatory, tax and compliance processes alongside internal and external specialists;
• Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of finance systems and processes;
• Assisting with reporting to senior management and other internal stakeholders.
• Leading a small team of junior CAs
In a nutshell, the role will focus primarily on operational finance, financial control, reporting coordination and oversight of service providers. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider Group Finance team, external advisors and senior stakeholders across the business to help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
The role will involve regular interaction with senior stakeholders across the business, including global business line leaders and senior finance management. Strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently in an international and fast-paced environment are therefore essential.
This role would suit a commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and experience operating within a professional services environment.
