Job Description
To liase with internal project stakeholders and teams, as well as external supporting functions (OPC, OMCS).\nKnowledge of the following:\nFusion SaaS\nWebLogic Administration Console\nOracle Database\nKnowledge of Fusion Middleware (PaaS and IaaS) component stack\nAbility to prioritise incoming requests, taking into account urgency, severity and scope\nCreation and management of Oracle support SRs (Support Request) and RFCs (Request For Change)\nMaintenance of tracking documents via Excel\nBasic understanding of LDAP to understand and help diagnose issues relating to integration Fusion / AD integration and account creation\n\nClone Coordination\nManagement of interventions with Oracle Cloud Operations, Oracle Support and OMCS with regard to the P2T and T2T cloning processes, together with coordination of the downstream changes for PaaS and IaaS infrastructure. This involves the following types of activities:\nMonitor and check for notifications (clones, patches, outages)\nCheck Cloud service portal\nHCM SFTP password resets via Cloud Service Portal\nFollow current cloning process for SaaS, PaaS & IaaS\nPerform any Post Cloning tasks\nUpdating documentation and tracking\nAct as facilitators/gatekeepers for clone requests/issues\nRaise necessary SRs and RFCs for cloning\nSaaS / PaaS / IaaS Patch Planning and Communication\nRFC Change analysis, scheduling and approval.\nCommunication for environment changes and upcoming SAAS patching/deployments including coordination of the planning across all parts of the programme\nManaging environment usage and impacts with various Oracle and Tesco work streams\nAnalysis of technical RFC’s for PAAS and IAAS changes, such as eBusiness refresh and SOA schema refresh.\nAnalysis and review of patch set updates for relevant software upon release within Oracle Support, in order to remain current and aligned across all PaaS and IaaS environments.\nCapacity analysis and forecast planning for growth, to reduce impact of capacity issues. To reduce project impact due to constant SR’s for space increases once existing limitations reached, prior to DM capacity analysis six SR’s raised and impact caused, since recommendation implemented zero SR’s and impact.\nPAAS and IAAS database and application patch analysis, focusing on most appropriate patch levels and implications of recommended patches and patch bundles on the environments and existing patch levels.\nUnderstanding of the end-to-end architecture to assist the program with efficient and appropriate environment usage, such as shared components for Data Migration (MFTCS), recommendation of SOA partitioning and purging processes.\nPaaS/IaaS Technical Specialization\nChange management liaison between project and OMCS infra - validating requests/changes, scheduling/approving across multiple stakeholders - Prod and non-Prod – People and Finance Programmes\nConnectivity management for Cross-service integrations - capturing requirements, sanity checking, co-ordinating with OMCS implementation team, validating - focus on People, assisting Finance.\nTechnical Assistance to Dev teams on ad-hoc infra issues\nTechnical Assistance to OMCS teams on ad-hoc infra issues/planning - DR, connectivity, DevCS, security, sizing etc
