D365 Rollout Solution Architect (ROSA)

Responsibilities:

• Overall D365 solution design, including integrations to other systems
• Overseeing the customization and configuration of the D365 application
• Provide the end-to-end process understanding that keeps the solution together
• Ensuring that configurations are done within the capabilities of the global template
• Ensuring robust documentation of target solution and all configurations
• Oversee the deployment specialist., quality ensuring of each track, including support and guidance (specifically in the more technical areas and related to AL template/infrastructure
• coordination that all batch jobs are executed efficiently across all track

Tasks:

• Ensure workshops are performed according to agreed methodology
• Ensure that DevOps is timely updated with relevant information
• Ensure that change requests are well prepared before CAB
• Lead solution meetings
• Participate in project planning activities
• Participate in resource planning
• Take part in stakeholder communication in relation to D365 solution and technical set up.

Personal Qualifications:

• Well-founded experience in Microsoft D365.
• Experience with working with a global solution and maintaining its design principle and integrity
• Familiarity with configuring solutions to cater for complex global process from an end-to-end perspective
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex requirements
• Robust project management and leadership abilities to guide the technical track of the local rollout team.
• Used to communicating at all levels in a global company and facilitate meetings and workshops routinely

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE DIFFERENT PHASES OF THE PROJECT

Preparation

• Participate in planning sessions
• Participate in Risk assessment
• Walk through of new functionality in D365 related to site specific businesses
• Outline the environment strategy
• MOCK strategy
• Data cleansing strategy

Prestudy

• Support deployment specialist and GPM in the End2End demonstrate of the template
• Read through documentation from site
• Participate in Pre-study workshops
• Assist Process Managers in documentation of pre-study workshops
• Ensuring the quality and content of the fit/gap analysis compared to the global template
• Build confidence within the business that all gaps have been identified
• Support the business roles alignment. Understanding existing roles and help the mapping to the standard dynamic roles

Realization

• Overseeing the customization and configuration of the D365 application
• Manage different environment configuration
• Overseeing all data necessary for future processes
• Ensuring that the solution aligns with the Alfa Laval template
• Present solutions for business stakeholders
• Assisting the project manager in project planning, tracking progress, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure that DevOps is timely updated with relevant information
• Lead and facilitate parts related to the solution in the cutover planning workshops
• Led and facilitate solution workshops.
• Ensure that environments are ready for UAT
• Taking part i cutover plan execution and follow up.
• Ensure that new / changed requirements are reflected in changed solution . or plans for later changes
• MOCK and Data refreshes
• Contribute and support test over all especially related to integration (follow up on different integration that we will use and manage.

Closure

• Summaries Go-Live issues from a solution perspective
• Taking part in issues and problem solving
• Taking part, facilitate and lead leassons learned parts related to solution.
• Taking part defining a restlist including target delivery dates.
• Ensure a good handover to LSM

Live Site
