Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the customer's Enterprise Architect and senior leadership teams to understand their strategic goals, challenges, and opportunities within the Life Insurance domain.
- Develop Enterprise Architecture Framework: Design, structure, and establish a scalable enterprise architecture framework that aligns with business objectives, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures the long-term sustainability of IT systems.
- Strategic Consulting: Provide thought leadership and expert advice to senior stakeholders on industry trends, technology innovations, and best practices for digital transformation within the Life Insurance sector.
- Solution Design & Integration: Oversee the design and integration of IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure they are aligned with the business vision and optimized for scalability, security, and performance.
- Compliance and Regulatory Guidance: Ensure that all architecture and technology solutions comply with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to life insurance and financial services.
- Roadmap Development: Develop a clear and actionable roadmap for the implementation of the enterprise architecture, ensuring that short-term and long-term goals are met with minimal disruption.
- Vendor Management & Evaluation: Evaluate technology vendors, tools, and platforms to ensure they meet the architectural requirements and provide a competitive advantage within the Life Insurance domain.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to system integration, data security, and compliance and work proactively to mitigate those risks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across departments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with a proven track record of consulting within the financial services or life insurance sectors.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the life insurance industry, including key business processes, regulatory requirements, and technology trends within the sector.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), cloud architecture, IT systems integration, application architecture, and infrastructure design.
- Consulting Skills: Experience in providing strategic consulting to senior leadership, guiding technology decisions and setting long-term vision for IT systems and architecture.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale projects, and balance multiple priorities.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks are highly desirable.
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
