Job Description
- We are looking for an Engineer to join our product engineering team responsible for developing core solutions within the Indegene product portfolio.
- Your primary focus will be on the development of server-side logic and integrating front-end elements with the server-side components using NodeJS and Frontend frameworks such as KnockoutJS, Angular and JQuery/JavaScript.
- As an engineer a solid foundation in NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB is required along with competence in front-end technologies including, Angular, Bootstrap, JQuery,HTML5, CSS3, and client-side JavaScript.
- This role is a hands-on developer who, as part of a team, also understands how to breakdown requirements and estimate effort and timelines and work in a collaborative manner with the product team.
Desired Profile (Education, Experience, Key Skills)
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript
- Basic knowledge on ORM
- Hands on Knowledge on SQL queries
- Hands on knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS, postgreSQL and frameworks available for it.
- Hands on experience of front-end technology and frameworks such as KnockoutJS, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- KnockoutJS experience highly desired.
- Understanding of design principles for secure and scalable applications
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript including JQuery
- Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git and SVN
- Understanding of important tools such as Docker, Bower, NPM, and GruntJS.
- Experience in working and configuring web servers such as Nginx, Apache, IIS etc.
- Ability to write quality code that is reusable, testable, and efficient
- Experience in agile development process
- Any Graduate
