The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.

We are seeking a Country Leader to lead our India market strategy, drive enterprise expansion and scale our local organization. This role requires a broad business generalist with experience spanning pre & post sales, HR, finance and operations.

What you'll do

  • Drive sales growth through successful leadership, organisational planning, customer service, and outstanding execution of all regional go-to-market programs (sales, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, support and field marketing).
  • Spearhead our regional growth strategy by securing top-tier enterprise accounts and expanding our current customer footprint and uncover new untapped markets
  • Lead the end-to-end integration of the partner ecosystem into our overall market strategy
  • Recruit, inspire, lead, mentor, motivate and instill operational rigor into the sales organization, to capitalize on the market opportunity for Cloudflare across India
  • Serve as the local point person for all functions in SAARC, including Product and Engineering as required.
  • Grow, build and drive the local hiring needs for SAARC by working with global functional leadership and recruiting resources, Ensure we have proper leadership development-succession planning in place across all teams. These functions include hiring and work authorization processes, Economic Development Board relations, and other duties as necessary to keep the local teams productive and inline with local regulations.
  • Design, build and execute strategies for SAARC in collaboration with regional and global functional leaders
  • Interject as the single point of contact for all SAARC's operational concerns, ensuring proper and timely escalation and resolution.
  • Ensure that corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are consistently applied and followed by team members in SAARC.
  • Outstanding leadership - inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead teams, develop talent and effect change. Willing and able to be a "doer" and "influencer"
  • Drive business cadence for forecast calls, functional review meetings, deal review, customer account reviews, weekly team meetings and periodic company-wide kick offs
  • Represent Cloudflare as appropriate at external conferences, media and PR events. Maintain relationships with the Economic Bureau of Development and other related

Who you are

  • High Growth at Scale: 2nd line leadership experience with a track record of developing processes and strategies that enable the organization to scale with the business and leading teams through rapid revenue growth. Previous Country Manager and / or Big 5 consulting experience is highly preferred
  • Go-to-Market Strategy Complexity: Well versed in ecosystem development from pre-sales to post sales coordination of complex, platform/multi-product sales motions across field, inside and channel sales selling into a multi-segment customer base.
  • Operational Rigor: Experience implementing complex strategy and operational improvements. Takes a data driven and efficiency-oriented approach to sales operations. Measurable success in improving sales enablement, hiring practices, productivity, sales strategy and programs.
  • Strategic Builder: This executive will be a team builder, team player, and a leader. To be effective you have the personal drive and enthusiasm to successfully navigate a growing company in an evolving marketplace.
  • AI platform product knowledge: Experience within a cloud-native, highly technical consumption based business, and track record of managing a predictable and repeatable recurring revenue business model.
