MuleSoft is looking for a motivated, energetic, detail-driven marketer with a "can do” attitude and a growth mindset. In this role, you will plan, execute and manage field marketing activities for the growing India market. The role is perfect for the ambitious marketer who strives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, and likes to challenge themselves in collaboration with other key business functions. The responsibilities include demand and audience generation, event planning & execution, pipeline management, and administrative duties to ultimately drive and mature pipeline, deepen brand awareness, and expand MuleSoft's footprint in India.
As a key member of the growing Asia Marketing Team, your responsibilities include:
- Executing demand generation marketing programs, including in-person and virtual events, webinars, ABM, direct mail, 3rd party and Salesforce campaigns to achieve marketing qualified lead goals for both net-new and add-on business
- Building pre-event promotions, and tracking campaign performance to ensure regional programs hit registration and pipeline goals
- Collaborating with the India Field team to drive regional marketing plans
- Working with the APAC MuleSoft Marketing team and Salesforce counterparts to pitch the marketing strategy, campaign results and new programs to help build and mature pipeline
- Working on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution
- Supporting the regional localisation strategy and content development as needed
Deliverables:
30 days:
- Develop an understanding of the organisation and the India business
- Develop a good understanding of our business model
- Develop a good understanding of the Marketing motions globally
- Begin to develop relationships with APAC MuleSoft and local Salesforce counterparts (marketing, sales, customer success)
- Develop a good understanding of the Marketing resources we have
- Become fully versed in Salesforce, Tableau, Slack, Wrike, and other marketing tools
- Familiarise with the internal Salesforce systems for venue sourcing, contract reviews and invoice processing
- Develop an understanding of our core positioning and messages
60 days:
- Master internal processes with little supervision including budget, planning, and reporting
- Develop a good understanding of our existing customer base, sales cycle and vertical plays
- Develop a good understanding of our existing partner ecosystem and MuleSoft Community
- Start to run campaigns in collaboration with APAC marketing team
- Start formulating your marketing plan for the remainder of 2022
90 days:
- Start executing India campaigns and activities independently, including delivering a couple of milestone projects
- Have rest of 2022 plan locked in
- Establish your own 'personal' brand and cadence
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor level degree preferably with a Marketing, Communications or Business emphasis
- 6+ years of high-tech marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role
- Experience in building campaigns for the India market
- Marketing experience in a role managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., email, direct mail, events, online, PR)
- Working experience with CRM, data analytics, and marketing automation apps
- Hands-on experience running demand generation campaigns and events
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI
- Experience managing third-party vendors and contractors
- Ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and think through problems to come up with innovative solutions; comfortable raising point of view to peers and senior leaders
- Ability to travel within India as required
